"In the last 6 months that I have been dining weekly at the Vale, the food and the service have gone rapidly down hill. Last week, I ordered a chicken schnitzel and the schnitzel looked like one of those mass-produced things from the freezer aisle in the supermarket and the chips were woefully under-cooked. The dining room was once full nearly every night of the week and is now very empty. Such a shame, but ALH/Woolworths need to put some more effort into their pub restaurants, deep fried 'churn & burn' just doesn't cut it."

"I chose a disc pumpkin quiche that looked delicious in the cabinet, but when it was microwave the whole crust was a soggy chaos and inedible despite this the filling was delicious. my friend smashed avocado and her meal was much more beautiful. as it was freshly prepared here I usually met with friends regularly for afternoon tea, but not lunch coffee is good, but the choice of sweetness is like many other local caffes (same supplier I think). very popular dining (only one in the center)"
