"It looked pretty touristy and industrial but the view of the river looked nice and it was recommended by the Chateau de La Rivière. The food was OK. We asked for a seat with a view of the river and were told we couldn't sit there. There were several tables available the entire time we were there. It was quite disappointing because it would have been much more pleasant if we could have taken one of those tables. We speak French well so that was not the issue. They don't serve drinks at the table and you can't just buy a glass of wine.. You can only buy a bottle and you have to go get it yourself inside at the bar. The staff was not that helpful or informative. We had to go ask to find out what the procedure was. They did recommend Chateau Gary's wine as much better than Chateau de la Rivière. We did visit the Chateau Gaby and the wine was excellent. Both châteaux have great wine. The restaurant reminded me of the places along the autoroute, an edible meal when there is nothing else available. The staff was cold and impersonal, completely unlike all of the other restaurants we had visited."

"Clean and well-kept establishment doesn't come for high gastronomy, but that's not what you need to eat the noon.Quick and efficient service in good mood "as at home", dishes are good and varied. Open every noon in week and some Friday night theme nights (but tried again, but apparently very nice atmosphere...)Excellent value for money"

"This little restaurant by the river Dordogne is very quaint. The restaurant serves mainly fish. The mussels and chips were great and the sardines were very tasty. Eveything is freshly cooked. Arrive early if you have not booked a table as it gets quite busy."

"Very good experience in this restaurant. We stayed in a nearby castle via a Smartbox box and the meal was planned in this restaurant. The proposed meal was delicious, we had a pleasant time, the waiter and the boss were very kind and very helpful. We will certainly go back to it during a next visit to the region."
