"What an amazing find! My first trip to LA and I am so happy with this trip! The food, the incredible hospitality and the vibe was everything. We literally walked in at 3pm when they were closing and they greeted us with a smile as if it was noon! The Mac n cheese was the best I’ve ever had and I can cook lol. The shrimp n grits, the collard green dip and the catfish amazing!! Will definitely be back before we leave."

"We got meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf was tender and the greens and mac were well seasoned. The food was good but the strawberry cheesecake was amazing. The customer service was also very good. I'd definitely return."

"I am trying to find a place that fries fish without using soybean oil (it is cheap and causes inflammation and liver issues). I specifically called to see what oil they use, and I was told vegetable oil to fry. I get to the store and there's a large container of soybean oil in my face. When I asked the Asian lady I was told they use soybean oil in the coleslaw; they do not fry with it. ?? Family meal: fish, shrimp, fries, and hush puppies...$57Free parking in the lot and no bathrooms."

"Being from Nayarit, I expected better!It was too expensive, and the flavor was too plain, the service was not too good, I had to be looking for my waiter. I ordered a braded shrimp with no rice, with only salad instead, and as you can see in the picture, it was only cucumber, onions, and some avocado. That's not a salad!So sorry, never going back to this restaurant!!!!"

"Came to dine in and I understand that times get busy, however my party and I had to wait more than 20 minutes. We have 3 disabled persons in our party and the server said that the owner allowed another party of the same size to be seated before us. Definitely ruined some of the mood for us since staff was rude when we tried to address it.. ended up leaving"
