"I am totally enchanted, from the first time I set foot in the beautiful peaceful garden at La Maison VARI it has never failed to disappoint me. Don 't be mislead by the small menu, each dish contains wonderful tasty fresh local produce, and is complimented...by their own delicious wines, the Red reserve my own favourite. Finish your meal with the 'cafe gourmand ' coffee with a selection of taster desserts; just perfect.. The service is excellent, staff are all friendly and very helpful. Thank you all for helping to make my recent birthday celebrations with family so special. (My only complaint is that I live 1,552 km away from La Maison VARI..."

"Don't really how to start this review, the place lookd good from the outside and we were expecting a good meal. What's the best hotel starters were mediocre at best not much taste. The waiter did not ask how my wife wanted her burger cooked, when it came it was dripping with blood. While I appreciate the French cook their meats fairly rare this was not good. The waiter brought my main course which was a meal that I didn't order too which he just sighed and took the plate away. 10 minutes later he arrives with the right meal. Service was terrible no interest whatsoever even when we try to speak French with them. I'm not saying my complaints were the reason I had an upset stomach the next day however the food did not taste good. And as per the title of my review my wife after this experience has decided to become a vegetarian so great for me being a meat lover"

"Have sat on the terrace here a few times during our holiday for a glass of their delicious white and rosé and a little platter of bread, cheese and charcuterie. Always friendly service and delicious cheeses etc. Definitely recommend for something a little different from a standard lunch."

"In juli had heard some negative comments about their menus. we visited last pre Covid-19 then it was wonderful. so the menu for this week looks yes the 59 and 79€ options are now set with entre/plat only one choice for desserts. we chose the...79€ one, all about eating the service welcoming the atmosphere was so good and even better than our last visit. we all 4 couldn't find anything we could complain about. although the menu is quite descriptive, there is much more on the plate. all courts plus divine amuse bouches and petit four were wow in their own right. each plate was all eaten, portions were good, so they were more than well fed, but not filled, a good balanced menu. yes alternatives are limited two main menu choices, but the full box with 20 cheese options was also divine. to finish the service was brilliantly discreet and the weinglas was filled up after required. will be back soon"
