"Un GPS capricieux nous fait sortir de l'Autoroute avant le Pont de Normandie. Il est 13 h et nous voyons ce grand corps de ferme au milieu des prés qui annonce un restaurant! Stop et nous voici attablé sous la tente qui jouxte la batisse. Accueil chaleureux et rapide. Un énorme tartare de boeuf et une entrecôte sauce au poivre. 15 minutes d'attente et tou est là! Simple, généreux, très bon et très tendre bref le terroir. Un café et moins de 50 euros après nous voilà reparti. Donc c'est bon c'est simple et c'est pas cher et le cadre est amusant. Et dire que certains mangent du pétrole au caoutchouc synthétique sur l'Autoroute, allez donc goûter aux vraies valeurs de la campagne, émotions gustatives garanties!"

"My wife and I drove over to Beuvron-en-Auge for lunch and she selected the Cafe Forges based on TA reviews. We both had the Entrecote cooked over the wood fire which imparted a nice flavor. I also had the escargot cooked with ham which was also very good. Service was excellent and we enjoyed dining outside, despite being next to the main road. Surprisingly, they had no artificial sweetener for the coffee."
