"This is a great little place. Had the grubsteak burger with onion rings. The Burger-grilled onion bacon and cheese on sourdough bread. Great. The onion rings were excellent with a fantastic Dill Ranch. Then the peach is Kobler. It was excellent. With the vanilla bean ice cream that melts on it, you can not finish any meal better."

"We spent the night in John Day . After looking on internet, we decided on this place for dinner . Being a small town , it should be easy to find. Wrong !! We drove around town finally settled on a restaurant in town. It was fine . We mentioned to our server we actually looking for squeeze inn . She told us it was actually about 3 miles down the road . We went there the following morning for breakfeast . It was very good . The place was neat and clean. Our waitress was efficient and friendly, and the place is bigger than the name implies . We’ll be back !"

"My experience in this café was wonderful! The food was amazing (the lavender limonade was above all exquisite) and the owner was very friendly and speechful. The only complaints I would have were that her card reader didn't work, so we were asked to pay for our meal later. Fortunately, we live near the city, so it wasn't a big problem, but it was uncomfortable anyway. Her hours are also quite uncomfortable. It seems every time we feel like they are closed. Sunday would probably be their popular day if they stayed open, and they have meals on their menu that could definitely be torn by about 18 pm. The food is to die, but the restaurant side (vs the bakery side) needs a little work in the decor area. It reminded me more of a vintage Burger joint instead of its unique and Hipster Vibe that beats its menu. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back."
