"This is my second time ordering from Hawthorn and its been fantastic both times. Has to the best Turkish especially their kebabs the chicken is cooked perfectly and the flatbread is so fluffy and fresh. Would recommend to anyone."

"It was such a nice day (weather wise) to eat and walk during my lunch break. I purchased a chicken and mushroom pide from Kebabish for just $5 and away I went. The pleasant lady heated it up for me in the press. The Turkish bread was nice and soft but the filling was a let down. There were very little ingredients and it was a tad under seasoned. Not the best meal but the sunshine made up for it."

"Our usual kebab place was closed today so we tried this place. Got my usual order of mixed lamb and chicken with the holy trinity our sauces. The chips were well fried and the cheese was melted. The meat was finely chopped and well cooked to create an overall great meal!"

"A must try!. After trying a lot of the kebab shops in this area I was so happy when I stumbled across this one! The service was great, the shop was clean and inviting and the food was delicious!! "Babajan was a cafe that my girlfriend and I had read about for years and hadn't quite made it around to trying. We got a salad to share (rice pilaj with beans etc. which was one of the best salads I've ever had and a spinach and mushroom Borek. What a combo! We then shared a baked egg dish with potato hash and bread and it was simply delicious. Ruby then ordered a slice of Persian love cake to go and the beautiful staff even through in a couple of Portuguese custard tarts in for free. Not only were they delicious but it just shows how much the café values brilliant service. What an experience and we'll certainly be coming back again soon."
