"We were looking for a new place to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary and a friend recommended Grace Bistro. It was a little out of the way, but well worth the effort. Great food and great atmosphere. The meal was excellent and the staff very friendly. We were not rushed but they were always there if we needed anything. We met friends who had also gone out of their way to eat there, based on a recommendation. The fact that the restaurant is located in a small strip mall in a residential neighbourhood quickly disappears once you get immersed in your meal. We'll certainly be back."

"Came here for a quick lunch with the family. Had friendly service and food was ok. They give large servings for the price except the bifana had one small slice of pork & we had to ask for a second piece. The chicken sandwich was good & the papo secos (bread) they serve was fresh. The calamari was a bit chewy but was good. On another note, the washroom needs some cleaning/ freshening up. There were a couple of spiders in there (I hate spiders) and the baseboards were black from dirt."

"An absolutely gem of a restaurant. The food was amazing and service exceptional. I had the table d'hote which consisted of the house salad, halibut main and dessert. The halibut was perfectly cooked. For dessert I had the lemon poppy seed almond flour cake with Blueberry coulis. Omg this was just so decadent and not overly sweet. My husband had the sweet potato soup and the salmon. He also enjoyed his meal very much. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. My husband loves history so got into talking about the history of the building the restaurant is housed in and our server, being ever so friendly, took the time to chat with us about the house. We had a wonderful evening at would definitely visit the restaurant again. Thank you for a great experience Bistro 1843."
The Bistro 1843 from L'ILE-BIZARD serves courses that are typical for the entire continent of Europe, look forward to the typical fine French cuisine.
