"Tuesday evening my friends and I had a quick dinner at the daeji cutlet house. it was our first time to have dinner at this place. we had a great experience in this restaurant. daeji cutlet house is a Korean restaurant with seat in vancouver, bc. it is located. on kingsway burnaby, which is directly opposite the road of metrotown. it offers authentic Korean best cutlets and hamburger steaks serve all their customers. we came to the restaurant on weekday at 18:30 o'clock, so the restaurant was not very busy. we quickly found the table and began to watch the menu. since one of my friends is Korean, it was very easy to order the meal. After we discussed together, we decided to share the food. we had the most famous in this restaurant kimchi fried rice, sweet maize cheese, fried chicken to share. our food came quickly out of the kitchen. the kimchi fried rice came with a large dish salate, which is very much. the taste of the kimchi fried rice was great. I didn't find a dick in the bowl. it was actually kimchi and rice. but the aromes were a little sharp and intense. I love it. the sweet maize cheese was very well cooked and fresh. it was my first time to have this court. very special experience with it. at the end the fried chicken came out of the kitchen. it was also very large. I like the kartoffels disk combinations with huh. I don't like very the aromen (sweet and sour) of the huh. It seems that they used their own sauces to mix them. compare the chicken dish to bbong korean restaurant in lougheed town center. I love bbong korean restaurant chicken more. In summary, we spent $60 on the meal. we had fun to try a new restaurant. good experience."

"When the food arrived it was just slightly warm. Very surprised that the delivery was by a bicycle. Maybe a motorized vehicle would be quicker and hence food maybe warmer."

"The Grand Chinese Restaurant was a planned venue for lunch recently — a first time experience for us. We (threesome arrived just before the restaurant opened at 11 am, and were able to finding parking almost immediately in front of the restaurant’s entrance door. <br/ <br/ The restaurant, with its dark colours, et al, was rather warm cosy looking inside, and seemed much bigger than it looked like from its small footprint outside. The kitchen is off to one side, behind glass, so quite open for customers to see what’s happening (and to catch some warm and nice smiles from the chefs doing their thing! . For us, the ambiance ‘felt’ comfortable. <br/ <br/ Service was friendly, and very attentive, ensuring our water glasses and tea mugs were kept full.<br/ <br/ What was ordered and shared: (names of dishes and descriptions of ingredients, as per menu listings <br/ <br/ — Garlic Pea Leaves (pea leaves lightly stir fried w/minced garlic — Salt Pepper Squid (deep fried squid tossed in spiced salt diced chilli pepper — Seafood Chow Mein (fried noodle w/prawns, sliced fish, squid greens — Spicy Ginger Beef (crispy shredded beef tossed in a spicy gingery sauce .<br/ <br/ Nice presentations, good sized servings, and dishes from kitchen to our table in a nice, timely sequence. Preparations were warm, and distinctly very flavourful, and tasty. Seasoning (spices, etc was definitely, and distinctly apparent in all dishes, but at an about perfect ‘medium’ level for us, and not overly done in any dish ordered. The pea leaves were very lightly cooked, leaving them nice and fresh and crispy to the taste the minced garlic added a nice flavour without overpowering the overall taste. Beef in the ginger beef was tender and chewy, the sauce pleasantly ‘gingery’ a very well prepared, flavourful, and tasty dish. The squid was tender and juicy, coatings light, seasonings spicy hot (picked out those little red green guys for daughter! the dish about as perfect as one could expect. Ingredients in the chow mein were also very well prepared noodles perfect, seafoods and veggies, tender, and juicy a flavourful and tasty dish. <br/ <br/ The ‘Grand Chinese Restaurant’ turned out to be a great choice for our lunch venue — food was very tasty and well prepared, and service attentive — we thoroughly enjoyed our total dining experience there."

"Would give ZERO stars. NOT BE GOING BACK!!! AVOID!!! SHAME!!! RUDE!!!Terrible RUDE experience as the staff (manager) complained the tip was low and demanded more money. Last week we paid cash and rounded to the newest dollar ending in the 10's and overtipped but this time yesterday we paid cash to the nearest dollar ending in 10's slightly under tipped to compensate for overtipping the previous time. Warning: Ask for your change back, and decide how much you would like to tip.Now they charge 2.5% if you pay by credit card that is why we paid by cash."

"One of my favourite poke shops around town! The customer service at this location is great! The staff are courteous and kind and even when they are slammed (I believe there may have been a staffing shortage as usually there is 2 at lunch but yesterday was just 1 the worker was very kind and took the right amount of time with each customer while also apologizing for the wait (not to be faulted! . The pricing is still fair especially for the portion you get. They have seating indoors (limited but perfect enough to enjoy your bowl of poke before heading off to your next destination or returning to work (full and fed! the Cali is my favourite bowl to order and the ingredients taste fresh and so well flavoured. I believe they have white rice, brown rice, kale, quinoa and cauliflower rice for bases (some alternatives are subject to additional charge which is nice to sort of cater to any palate."

"Being there a couple of times and food was decent to good. Thought we go for lunch. the food was terrible. The deep fried foods were greasy and cold. It was prepped earlier and sat there for a while before portioned to the orders. Not good at all. Price is ok for the portions. décor is very simple.not going back to take a chance on the quality."
