"I was in the area that went through at noon and decided to give this place an attempt as there seems to be the only sushi place to be with outdoor seats (during Kovid). Places an order for the takeover, but at the tables outside. Ordered a spicy tuna roll, a cucumber and anal roll, and the crazy roll from the special menu and all three were delicious! Less than $30 for the perfect portion for my husband and me. If it were closer to my own home, I would definitely make this a regular place for sushi desire!"

"Feb 2024: this is a small store but there is some seating. A pretty basic but clean dining area. Service was prompt. We had the shrimp tempura bento box. The side of rice was not very good and falls into a bunch of pieces. The tempura was ok though. Rate the box 6/10. We had the Phoenix roll which was a fresh lobster salad roll essentially (8/10). The Philly roll rates 7/10 and the Hawaii roll (mango, avacado) 9/10."

"My wife is a sushi fanatic. We've been pretty much tried sushi everywhere in the D.C. metro area. We like Rainbow Sushi because of their low prices, great tasting sushi, and friendly staff. We go at least once a week. The ambience is nothing to write home about. Also, they try to add variety to their menu by adding Thai and fried rice dishes. Personally, I'd stay away as they are pretty greasy and salty. If you want great sushi at a low price this is it."

"Very good but not perfect. However, the restaurant is new and is taking the appropriate steps in improving. The appetizers, kids menu, side dishes, tempura, noodles, and hibachi are all really good. We end up ordering the fries from the kids menu just because they are perfectly crispy and make a great item for munching on between dishes. The sushi is good but they rely on sauces for additional flavoring instead of perfecting ingredients. They just switched to a new wasabi because the old one wasn't spicy. Hoping they do the same with other spicy dishes as the idea of spicy doesn't seem to exist here. The restaurant is now serving alcohol and doing a happy hour. Over all great customer service, amazing prices for ayce, and I'm always satisfied whenever I visit. Once they perfect sushi flavor without sauce, I'll give it 5 stars."

"I walked in to place my order. There are menus on the left when you enter. This is a small alcove, the cashier was inside. From what I could see, the location is clean and well maintained inside. Outside is a bit disorderly looking.The prices are are marked out. I ordered the Spicy Maki Combo after asking for recommendations. The price to order online from here is $18.75. My total was $17.60 after tax.I'd say the entree was average. The soup had more flavor though than the rolls. Also, the rolls were not spicy. There was enough Wasabi though, at first it seemed to be less than there actually was.I tried to justify 4 stars, but have to go with 3 after completing my thoughts here.This is probably the McDonald's of sushi?For local comparison, Rainbow was better but they closed when Lotte closed. Wegmans is actually worse. Their rice was stale or not properly prepared. I am on low carb so limit how much rice I eat. I prefer a couple of rolls every now and then, as take out. I will look into other options before considering this location again."

"Magnificent experience, not only was I disappointed that I did not review the reviews before an order, but very disappointed that this place is still here after such negative reviews. Noddles were overcooked, chicken was over salt, and basically the rice was the only good thing I did not throw away (all of it to say the least). The manager should really check these reviews to ensure that the next customers do not experience the same. Actually, I need a refund."
