"My boyfriend and I are epicureans and we were not disappointed. Not only did we eat an exceptional meal for the price of unsustainable quality, but also we were advised directly by the restaurateur (very pleasant and friendly) for the discovery of a good bottle of wine to accompany our meal. "Gorgeous location, good food, clean WC....but unpleasant surprises: Entrecasteaux is a charming town, and we were starved. La Castellane had been recommended to us as the best pizza around. We each (there were 10 of us) ordered our own pizzas. Two of us ordered the Margharita pizzas: tomato sauce, mozzarella, and olives. When they arrived, not one olive. Instead, a light drizzle of pesto. The really unpleasant part was when we asked about olives, and the waitstaff acted as if they were surprised and offended that we expected olives, as described on the menu! We asked if we could get a bowl of olives, and the answer was NO! Not sorry, but NO, and mumbled comments about Americaines! The same went for those who ordered the basilica pizzas: they arrived without any Basil...just more pesto. And by this time, they were afraid to ask about the missing ingredients! Go for the ambience, but don 't expect your pizzas to match the description on the menu. And definitely don 't ask about missing ingredients!"

"A word of mouth led us to La Tempo for dinner. Up the stone steps to the restaurant which has different spaces providing an intimate experience, outdoor and indoor. The specialty is pizza and the three different types our group had were all delicious! The staff were attentive and patient and the service rapid while still allowing us to savour our meal."

"A very good evening strangely odd because the service at both the beginning and end was poor, but in between was fine. Location beautiful. Welcome strangely cold and attention after being seated non existent as 4 young waiters stood around looking confused. But after making it clear we wanted to order both drinks and a meal everything clicked into gear. Service improved and we had food as good as we’ve had in France in the last few years. Simply outstanding and good value in a good location. And then service started to fall apart again. Asking for the bill it just didn’t arrive. I had to go to the desk to request it again and was directed to another desk where I paid, happily. Without the service glitches this would be an outstanding place, as it is it’s still very, very good. Just get the welcome and goodbyes better and it’ll be superb. Oh, and we will be back."
