"I have lived in the Joondanna area for approx 5 years, and had this take-away for the first time recently.The food was very poor!We ordered:- Mexican Pizza - base had clearly been pre-cooked, lacked cheese!- Arancini - disgusting cheese in the centre of the arancini balls, felt soggy - the outside should be crisp and fresh!- Garlic Bread - a frozen variety roll, like what you would get from a supermarket!- Gnocchi Arrabiata - bought frozen gnocchi, flavourless tomato sauce- Gnocchi (some creamy chicken and mushroom dish, cannot recall the name) - bought frozen gnocchi, possibly one mushroom in the whole dish, container was only 3/4 full!Total cost = $66!We were keen to try this place, as the menu looked extensive, and the prices are very good.Customer service was fine, but the food had clearly been pre-prepared, and not a lot is made fresh in house. Far better takeaway s in the area!"

"It was a good value for money and plenty to eat at the table service buffet for $29 on a Wednesday. We left the restaurant extremely full. Unfortunately we missed out on a few dishes that we were supposed to receive without being told (missing the buffalo wings, chicken steak and gnocchi). The waiter was friendly but offered my partner a couple of the pasta dishes and not me, not sure why? And so we had to share the pasta together as the waiter did not return often. Some of the meat seemed as if it was reheated and very chewy. Overall average experience."

"The pizzas we had were absolutely average 3 out of 5. What puses it down to 2 is that the garlic bread was poor. Imagine the cheapest own-brand garlic bread loaf you can lay your hands on and you get the picture."

"There is more than one reason that the ciao italia outlets are absolutely unpacked, not only from locals in the immediate environment, but from tourists, visitors and people who come from far away suburbs; the service, family-style sharing concept and speed are just some. I would like to say, however, that the pizzas in nedlands ciao italia are better than the south perth outlet. pastas, since served in large, sharing portions can be sticky, but still tasty eat better than take away. overall the nedlands socket is better because it is bigger and there is more space. will always go back, the service is beautiful."
