"Maybe it 's 15 years since we were last here and I can say not much has changed, outside the prices, The decor, hand written signs everywhere extolling the wines and specials. Fish of course is their speciality and they did not disappoint. Moules frites...sweet plump...little bulot moules were excellent. Wife had the grilled salmon again excellent and a very generous portion. Service extremely pleasant and prompt on a fairly busy Wed lunchtime.Wife finished with probably the biggest Cafe Gourmand we 've seen..excellent. Will not wait so long for next visit."

"This is a small restaurant but with a varied menu. The service was good at the beginning of the meal and the waiter was extremely pleasant but as the restaurant became busier service took longer. The waiter remained in good humour but at times appeared flustered. The menu de jour was 26€ which was good value for three courses, although the main course required that we order additional fries. Not really anything to fault, but not much to rave about either!"

"This was our second visit in years. I agree with other reviews the setting is wonderful and the staff very attentive albeit a lot of them and sometimes a little slow. There was four of us dining and we all felt the food was...lacking in flavour and overpriced. I ordered chicken which had to be sent back as it was undercooked, not something I would expect from ordering chicken. There was no apology for this and for that I felt let down by the restaurant as a whole. We all considered it was such a shame as the restaurant did not live up to our expectations and there are plenty of lovely restaurants around to choose from."

"Il y a certaines expériences de table qui conduisent à une forme de stupéfaction...Fin de saison touristique, plusieurs restaurants présents sur le secteur affichent complet, ou bien sont carrement fermés un samedi soir...(la saison a du être suffisament juteuse pour fermer..)Nous tournons nos pas vers une petite terrasse mignonette installée près d'un ancien lavoir, juste à l'entrée du village, tenue par une brasserie paraissant on ne peut plus classique.Une partie du menu est affiché sur ardoise, les prix sont franchement bon marché, nous avons faim, et nous avons peur de nous faire recaler de partout si nous reprenions la voiture...Le menu est ultra classique, et s'affiche dans toute son humilité: moules surgelées steak haché frites, chèvres fondus en salade, tartare de boeuf frites salade (10€), et menu enfant à 7€50 (moins cher, j'ai rarement vu), à base de nuggets/frites et 1 boule de glace à la fin. De loin les prix les plus bas constatés dans la région, surtout pour une terrasse en centre village.On ne s'attends donc pas à une étoile Michelin, mais les prix sont bien en dessous de la moyenne. Et puis nous avions très faim.La serveuse est souriante et enjouée, quoique probablement un peu fatiguée en début de service, seule pour gérer toute la terasse. Les plats arrivent relativement vite. La salade de chèvres est relativement correcte: tranches de chèvre basique fondues sur des morceaux de baguette grasse, salade (sachet ?), bref, rapport qualité/prix valable.Le tartare en revanche, sort tout droit de son sachet, le petit trou du milieu pour y poser l'oeuf cru parfaitement réalisé par le fournisseur de ce tartare industriel et surgelé. Le "pré-assaisonement" est abominable...des trucs vert au goût indéfinissable et des pseudo morceaux d'oignons-échalotte pré-inclus dans la viande réussissent à faire de ce tartare un de plus mauvais que je n'ai jamais mangé...(première fois de ma vie que je n'en termine pas un...)Les frites sont clairement surgelées, leur forme évoquant sans aucun doute à avoir, la marque leader du marché.Les nuggets de ma fille n'ont rien à envier à ceux que l'on trouve dans le fast food le plus proche, mais elle finira son assiète comblée.Là, une personne est envoyée en renfort sur le service, la serveuse baissant de régime, et les délais s'alongeant. Le jeune homme semble perdu et exténué, s'embrouille totalement dans les glaces commandées, transpirant lourdement, visiblement perdu et angoissé.Nos coupes arrivent en randomisation totale: pain d'épice au lieu de cannelle pour Madame, double boule pour notre fille qui ne voulait que du chocolat, et une double cassis pour moi, qui avait commandé poire/fruit de la passion...Et puis cette glace chocolat...eurk...en fin de bouche, un arrière goût pas super rassurant pour du soi disant chocolat 70%...Nous évoquons le problème au jeune homme, et là la réponse fut exquise: "Ah bah oui, c'est normal, c'est le fond du bac."...puis s'en va, suant et titubant...Ma femme et moi incrédule éclatons de rire, +1 pour l'honnêteté !L'équipe nous décomptera tout de même au final la coupe incriminée.Au final: Des prix aussi mini excusent une bonne partie de la qualité limitée du repas. La gentillesse et la bonne volonté du service aide aussi à conserver un souvenir relativement positif de cette expérience.A retenir quand on a vraiment faim !"
