"The lake terraces Öhningen are located directly on a small part of Lake Constance, the so-called Untersee, near the Swiss border, on the Höri Peninsula, pure nature. I spent my lunch break on the beautiful terrace of the restaurant with a direct view of the Untersee, with this great ambience you almost forget your business appointments and choose almost on holiday. The tables were covered with fabric tablecloths and colorful meadow flowers. I have fried Aal in sage butter with parsley potatoes and colourful market salads an absolute poem, and I would like to have been sitting here until the evening, but the work called after the very, very delicious food."

"If you like your food swimming in oil and extremely bad waiter service. This restaurant is not cheap and to be here on family visit to show them the sights and supposedly quality of food for Switzerland it's embarrassing and shocking. The service from our waitress with the bob hair was not good she is rude and incompetent. Not good service or food and I do not recommend at all!!!"

"Restaurant is both inside and outside. The outside is on two sides, one in full public view, the other a small and quiet alcove of a few tables approached from the street leading away from the river. It does not have a front onto the...river which is an advantage as all the river restaurants were very crowded and I suspect the service would have been slower. here the service was prompt, and friendly . Staff speak english. Food was simple and served quite quickly. There did not appear to be any desserts other than ice creams. The menu included some indian dishes."
