"We had the Barra and chips and the fish burger. You can tell they make things from scratch, the fish was fresh and well seasoned, salads were crisp, crunchy and delicious, portions were decent and it didn’t take too long to come out to us. The staff were friendly too!"

"So far it’s one of the top list HK-style cafe 茶餐廳 I have visited. I ordered fish ball 手打魚蛋noodle soup、wonton 云吞in soup、prawn dumplings 水餃in soup and BBQ pork take away. Very much appreciated fish ball 手打魚蛋that not so many places to offer. Prawn dumplings taste good but cooked too much. Wontons missed a flavour of 大地魚 which is the soul of wontons. Without it similar taste to prawn dumplings. And I don’t know if it was my mistake or something wrong with ordering website I order wonton and prawn dumplings each 3 pcs before I would order frozen one to take away. But it turned out 2 prawn dumplings. I talked to a few waiters and at the end the restaurant agreed to change the prawn dumplings to wonton for me I appreciated their services to customers. Will visit again when I miss HK-style food next time and try other dishes offered in the restaurant."

"My first experience where they serve burgers open. <br/ <br/ To me it 's a bit odd but the burgers we 're excellent none the less. I had the 200g patty and added grilled mushrooms on mine. The bat-gf ordered a 'no. 7 ' which is basically what I have but with a smaller patty. <br/ <br/ Burgers were really good. I love the flexibility of what you can add to your burger and the complimentary sauces that accompany your meal. Even the done-ness of your patty is up to you. <br/ <br/ On order was also a beef and veal meatballs with a creamy white sauce. It was good but the real highlight was the burgers. <br/ <br/ I would love to visit again!"

"I just had my first burger at 'Maccas ' in ages. Although the quality of the food hasn 't change and the nuggets are still well let 's just say 'not good ', the staff here are awesome. Super friendly, super helpful polite, jovial and all in all made this quick trip to McDonalds quite enjoyable.<br/ <br/ Just wish the food would taste better."

"PLACE/AMBIANCE: This particular mad mex is situated in the food court of Melbourne Central. Tucked in the corner, with some tables overlooking an outside view of swanston street. Table seating is typically 2 or 4, but they can be shuffled around if need be. SERVICE: Wow! A mexican fast food joint that actually has latino 's working behind the counter. I was happy to be able to practice my spanish. They are very helpful with the process so dont be shy to ask how everything works, if the visual explanations dont do the job. They also indicate the spiciness of each sauce which is always a good precaution. FOOD: Great i thought. For Mexican which is pre made and sitting under a heater the flavor was well kept. I was happy to see that this place incorporates certain authentic qualities such as soft shell tacos to go along with the all too familiar 'tex mex ' we see everywhere these days. Ive tried the burrito, quasidila, and tacos. Fillings is just personal preference, but dont be afraid to just get everything. I especially encourage trying a carnitas (pork) quasadilla! the melted cheese on pulled pork inside a freshly pressed tortilla will not disappoint and make sure you dip each bite into some salsa verde; mexican crema and guacamole. pefect bite! And please try a Dos Equis beer if you haven 't before (and you like beer) it blows Corona out of the water they have 2 versions also amber is the one i prefer! PRICING: Decent! most of the menu is sub $10 if i recall correctly. You also get the option of a small or large version of whatever you get so goes the respective price. I ordered a couple of regular burritos; some small serving tacos; a large quasadilla and 2 dos equis totalling $44. OVERALL: If im in a food court and i want mexican food Mad Mex is what im looking for from now on."
