"Poor hospitality being shown by the staff at bar, no greeting, no smile. Did not look like they enjoyed serving customers. Wanted their popular cider, was responded with: 'None in the fridge'. Lemon lime bitters was made way too sweet. At the restaurant, the waitress preferred to give all her attention to one particular table which was next to us, stood there and chatted with them for ages while we were ready to order. She gave us a buzzer to collect our food, which was fine with us but I was a bit perplexed as to why she gave full table service to the table next to us and it wasn't even busy.....there was only 3 other tables eating there while we were there. Having worked in the hospitality industry, number one rule is: Every customer is important. We ordered 1 x The Northshore Steak Sandwich, 1 x Chicken Parmigiana and 2 x Beer Battered Fish. The only decent food items were the 'Bad Boy Fries' which came with all our meals and the Chicken Parmigiana as it was not processed chicken like some places. The Steak Sandwich was not served on thick bread as described on the menu but was a frozen Turkish roll that had seen better days and grilled, the steak was cooked to medium but the grill plate/pan mustn't have been hot enough which could have stewed a bit during its cooking time and was chewy. The Beer Battered Fish was most disappointing....most of the bad boy chips were bigger than any of the three pieces of fish that were served on the plate. For $18, what a rip off. To top it off, it was not even tasty. Thank god for the chips with free sauce and the giant jumping pillow in their playground."
