"Great cafe quirky decorated with a mix of sofas/coffee tables and normal tables and chairs. We had 4x Bobs breakfasts all good, well cooked just the right size. Bacon was good and thick, Sausage and eggs were good, came with toms, beans, toast and little fried potatoes. Latte also good. Big band jazz playing quietly in the background which was cool, Staff and customers very friendly. We will be back to try the roast dinner very soon. Thanks."

"Went here for the first time since covid lockdown. Disappointed that staff kept the same PPE on (apron) all night, they went between each customers table wearing the same apron spreading germs from table to table and taking it to the kitchen to bring food to the tables. Didn’t see the staff sanitise their hands between tables either. Food was okay, very large portions and plenty of choice. Tables spread nicely apart with good screens! Poor signage within the pub"

"The best stop I made in South Wales. Was recommended to get the breakfast sandwich by the locals at the pub and it did not disappoint. Very cheap as well, and be sure to pic up a big bag of welsh cakes to take with you on the journey in the car as they last a few days"
