"It’s called a speciality seafood restaurant and we were expecting fresh fish as advertised.. we had calamari, prawns and crab cakes and all were very poor. Definitely frozen, same garnish side salad on each plate and shop mayonnaise in a little tub. There is no...“chef” in this restaurant.. deep fat frier.. and no care or consideration for cooking. It’s called “le petit bistro” so you can avoid it at all costs"

"We nipped in for a quick take away on our holidays, and oh my, it was amazing. Real chips, wrapped in paper and smothered in salt and vinegar. Fish was delicious, light batter, and chicken burger was fresh and stacked well. It's not something we...eat a lot of, but we all agreed it would be worth a drive from Galway to get again. Next time you are in Cork, there is only one place to head to a take away....get to Blondies"

"After looking for a restaurant in the area after a long journey, we found this one. A quick look on trip advisor, and we were unsure due to reviews. We really didn 't need to be concerned. The food was excellent, the owners lovely. The pasta which I don 't normally order in take away form as it doesn 't travel well etc... was really delicious. Beautifully cooked. 'Proper Italian ' food. I wish the owners the best of luck and hope that they can open the main restaurant again soon. In the meantime, having this wonderful food available to take home to eat is fantastic. -Later found out that my uncle who lives nearby, visits here regularly and would also highly recommend it."
