"I say dry because many places in Canberra do theirs very oily. Some may prefer it that way, especially as it often gives a rich flavour, but this place gets a lot of flavour in their drier version - I don't know popular pide is in Kabul, but this tastes a lot like Afghan BBQ that I've had in the past. The restaurant is pretty simple and priced well."

"We have eaten here three times now, with a great meal each time. The owner and staff are welcoming and cooperative, the food is tasty and authentic (we've visited Turkey), and servings are a good size. "Food was delicious and excellent value. Had the light banquet for $25 per person. This came with a pide to share (we chose the lamb mince one), dips, Turkish bread, zucchini fritters, salad, a plate of Pilaf with shish lamb and chicken (one skewer of each) and baklava for dessert. Had a soft drink each which was also included. Apologies for the picture but forgot to take a photo until we had nearly demolished everything!"
