"Been going to Barton fish and chips shop for years lovely family run business, Never had any problems until the last couple of times I've been the young lad that work's there is Rude and Aragant, Manners don't cost you anything!! "Definitely not the best tonight. Spare ribs were overdone and looked as if they'd been reheated a number of times. Chicken balls again seemed reheated. Chips were cold, chou mein tasteless and only 5 prawns in the foo Yong. Think I'll try elsewhere next time. "Impromptu Saturday lunch with friends. Risotto is delicious and plentiful . The plates themselves were chipped and the table cloths had food remnants from previous diners. The women's toilet was a bit dirty. Lovely old village pub, full of character and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our dog Charlie was served up a plain chicken breast which he devoured . Dessert was a big treat. I would go again and try something different next time and hope for a little more care and attention to the cleaning and upkeep."
