"Sushi Shack, what in the world is going on with you guys? We frequent here super often, we will not be going back after today. My boyfriend got the shrimp tempura roll and said it tasted off and wasn’t good at all. I got the volcano roll and could only eat the crab off the top after trying one piece. Look at the size of the tuna??? Where’s the avocado?! It was horrible. Bubble tea was not good. So disappointed. This used to be our go-to place for sushi, appetizers, and hibachi."

It was my nephew's birthday and the last day of a play he was in and he LOVES this sushi but it was a total mess of a timeline! "This place has got some really good food. Their sushi is the bomb a must try! I recommend this place to couples who want a nice quiet and somewhat romantic meal because they are rarely busy for dine in (they seem to get a bunch of takeout orders instead) their dining room lighting is very dim. Thumbs up from me and this missus."

"I usually go to the Pelham Road location near 85 and I will stick with that one from now on. Lesson learned. I ordered sushi and it was super bland and wasn't rolled correctly so every piece fell apart. I'm just super disappointed with what I received. Like zero effort went into this food and you can definitely taste it. 2 of the pieces of Shrimp Tempura sushi were literally just tails. I've never had that happen at other locations. This sushi was just pitiful. And the sauces tasted water down. I don't even know how that's possible. $30+ down the drain. And I gave them a nice tip too. Just ridiculous and I'm beyond annoyed."

"I hate to make bad reviews, but there were many mixed reviews here. our personal experience was a very unclean restaurant with dingy carpets. we bought 6 sushi rolls that were tiny, bland tasting and on the warmer side than normal. Unfortunately, none of them could end. not the worst we had, but would not buy again. even our appetizer from edamame was dried and gummy. server was very nice!"
