"The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but thats almost all the good points. The servers were friendly enough, and took the time to ask how things were, especially when clearing your plates between courses. The food, it was a shame really and definitely not a meal I would rush back for or recommend. Starter some jarred peppers and some mozarella. No real taste, quite bland and something my kid could have thrown together absolutely no technical skill went into preparing this. Main this was reasonable, the steak melted in the mouth, but nothing I couldn’t get in other known steak houses. Pudding not as described on the menu. Disappointing when the menu says white stilton and fig chutney, for the chef to serve brie and sandwich pickle!!! Ruined the meal to be served something you hadn’t ordered. If you run out of an ingredient then you tell your customers, you dont serve them something else and hope they dont realise. I would only return if I was booked at DBB in the next door hotel, it wouldn’t be out of choice."

"Nous nous y sommes arrêté vers 14h pour déjeuner, et je n'ai jamais vu un service aussi long. On nous a servi une première partie en disant de revenir 2-3 minutes pour le restant, il nous aura fallu attendre 10-15 minutes, la première fournée ayant refroidi. "Family owned, the chef is the owner and most week days he will also welcome you with a big smile and a hearty handshake. We've been here a few times, as it is not far from the house. The food is simple but very tasty. Anything from the savoury crèpes to the local delicacies, such as ravioles with cheese sauce, or the duo of salmon tartar are just great. The meat cuts are tender and juicy and the salads are big and filling. For dessert, try a banana split crèpe.... huuummm, delicious!!! And during the summer months, enjoy their shadowed terrace for an added bonus. The only minus, the proximity to the road, but it can be overlooked while enjoying a good meal in good company."
