"Table for 5, staff very friendly but it went down hill from there. The drinks menu looked like a redacted JFK file with so many items crossed out with a black marker. Items that were still on the drinks menu and requested were no longer available, maybe a reprint would be a good idea. We ordered bruschetta for entree, this was soggy and there was no basil or fresh herbs to be seen. Veal parmigiana was over cooked and the fries were luke warm and tasted like they had been reheated in a microwave. Mushroom risotto was tasteless and not a hint of wine could be smelt or tasted, it was also served on a flat plate which seemed so wrong. The worst dish was the Saltimbocca Alla Romana, this meal looked so unappetising, the vegetables had been boiled to within an inch of their lives and the mashed potato was so lumpy. Finally there was music playing in the background quite loudly which would have been fine if it hadn’t been heavy metal!!!! We could see the restaurant was doing a roaring trade in takeaway pizza which told us they must be good. So why was our restaurant meal of such a poor quality???"

"This place belongs to the family iannello, which until recently owned al dente in bicton. her new place in coogee has only been opened for a year. tonight I have my first order a margherita pizza (I have added basilikum to the standard toppings), cannelloni and garlic bread. all delicious, especially the garlic bread that was excellent. also supply them and the service is friendly and fast. so glad that I finally found somewhere near freo that makes and supplies delicious pizza!"

"Deserves a THUMB'S UP!. This place has become my regular takeaway shop! crispy chips and crispy batter on fish, cooked perfectly for an affordable price and generous servings. You can finish it up with a deep fried Mars bar which you can't resist. It felt like I had died and gone to heaven when I took my first bite and enjoyed the entire thing. Also, the service is as fabulous as the food!"

"Crab sticks? Strewth, an absolute pearler; perfect batter to unidentifiable mater ratio no complaints. Fish? Mate it 's a hard one. Would the western suburbs enjoy it? No. Is that enough for me to recommend it? Absolutely yes. Chips (no vinegar)? Nothing to call ya misso about; potato was just soft enough, crunch was just crunchy enough. The definition of the fish and chip, chip. Squid? Crunchy batter that made me forget I was eating squid the only way to eat squid. Service? Time between walk in order and in car home 10 minutes. No small talk and all business. It 's a yes from me. Overall? The 'she 'll be right ' of food. Recommend."
