"I wish I could review more than once. I’m giving Sticky Sweet another 5 review for each visit over the past 2 years for being the worlds best ice cream!! Of course they are the best plant based vegan ice cream, but there’s now no doubt in my mind that it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Also the sweetest people behind the counter, always smiles ready to help with flavor details and personalized suggestions. Love you Sticky Sweet 1st review Looks like Portland will be seeing a lot more of me!! I got two scoops tonight, one sea Salted Caramel one Fat Vanilla Bean stuffed in a delicious, fresh, homemade waffle cone!! Such a treat having amazing, plant based ice cream so close to home. "Used to go to the one in the mall all the time. As a huge fan of soup this has always been my go to place for a quick, cheap and healthy lunch. If you don't care too much about healthy their grilled cheese and tomato soup soup is the best comfort food. For a healthy option the curried root vegetable and lentil soup is my go to. Don't forget to order with a nice warm roll. They're such a tasty side for any of their soups."

"Friends of mine brought me to this bar after the first Friday Art Walk we enjoyed some great beer selections. The bartender and the wait staff were very friendly. I even forgot some art which I bought earlier that night and drove back an hour later and they had it for me behind the bar. I'll be back again for sure!"

"Slab is a great place for casual dining and the food is great. The outdoor music series has been a lot of fun this summer. A little loud if you're at the table directly in front of the stage but still...better than average bands that aren't your run of the mill bar bands that seem to be everywhere else. I only have one criticism; ditch the wood sporks please. Ever try using one? They pull the lips off your face."

"Bam Bam’s is amazing! We drive from Hampton NH to Portland to stock up on their Honey Oat bread. It makes the best toast you’ve ever tasted! My husband has a gluten intolerance and we’ve tried all the different brand’s the stores offer. Some are okay, some are awful/tasteless. It is worth the drive. We buy 7 or 8 loaves at a time, slice them and freeze them. While we’re there, we also indulge in their many amazing pastries! My absolute favorite are the lemon squares, best you’ve ever tasted! My husband’s favorite are the whoopie pies, also amazing! Whether you can only eat gluten free or not, it doesn’t matter. Still the best bakery!"
