"We had to send one of the meals back. The chick pea curry was so bitter, it just tasted like vinegar and nothing else. It was literally inedible. The first time I have ever sent back food. The photos of the restaurant are old, it doesn't look like that anymore. The menu is old too, much less options now, they basically just sell burgers. For the price, we were expecting so much more. The waitress was however extremely nice and apologetic and happily swapped the food for something else. Even the replacement food was not good. Seemed like a pre bought microwaved pie. If it wasn't for the waitress we would have walked out."

"This is a friendly local pub. I visited s few days before Christmas and loved the atmosphere. It's a bit old fashioned but I like that, it's got character! Staff very busy but friendly. I had a glass of mulled wine and enjoyed the open fire. Didn't notice the toilets.... They can't have been that bad!"
