"This was the best Mexican dinner my wife and I have had in a Long time. The food was outstanding, flavorful and in generous portions. A good deal for the money. Our server Pedro provided quick and courteous service with a smile. The margaritas were also amazing. We were very satisfied with our experience. Thank you ?"

"I’m not usually one to leave a negative review, but I do think it’s appropriate to warn others. We stopped here for a quick meal for my family (myself, husband and two-year-old). My toddler eats the potato tacos, plain. I made an online order in advance, but had to wait at least an extra 25 minutes because they had an issue with the fryer. I’m pretty understanding, and that is not the reason for this bad review. The staff was pretty friendly and apologized for the wait. They even gave me some coupons for free tacos. They are expired coupons so I don’t think I can use them, but I appreciate the thought.The reason for this review is both my toddler and I were up multiple times in the night sick with food poisoning symptoms. This had been our only meal for more than 7 hours besides snacks in the car. And the contents of our stomachs were only the potatoes from Taco Bell. Only my toddler and I had eaten the potatoes. So, my negative review is to let others know that if there seems to be some sort of issue with the food you’re planning on getting here, just be safe and skip it."

"Love this place! great eating, simply prepared and fresh. note: this is a family restaurant, not a chain. it is clean, well run and very cheap. I have brought several people here to eat and they have been cut. I have been in the restaurant business for 30 years and a professional chef for 26 and I am a happy man to have el faro close."
