"Nice place near the lake, simple but well-made dishes. efficient service. Nice staff. Only small criticism is the small variety in the menu, it could be a little richer. pizza is for me the best in the area, low crisp and extremely light. I'm a regular customer."

"I was in this place eating for the first time tonight. I didn't even know they were catering. the location is very beautiful, a beautiful garden meters from the lake. easy to reach and with a nice outdoor parking. the most pleasant discovery was pizza on the palate. we were people and with blades we ate a great pizza and plentiful! we took a daisy, a potatoes and sausage, a bowl, a flowers of pumpkins and anchovies and one with the mortadella and pistachios. we spent a beautiful evening and spent really very little for what we had eaten and, especially drunk. absolutely recommended!"

"Latera is not a touristy town though the old town is very cute and surprisingly empty at night. La Cantina del Mago is at the end of the old city (3 mins walk from the car park). I went there because i stayed at the...owners (Riccardo) Agroturismo and he suggested i try it. I didn't know what to expect and know maybe 5 words in Italian, not enough to understand what i ordered (from his uncle Gino who knows even less English) but it was SO good! Indeed I was in an adventurous mood but every thing i got was just great! Starting from the house plate of crostini/antipasto, the pasta in aubergine/eggplant and sausage and the pannacotta in honey and cinnamon and a glass of wine. It all cost only 18€. Not to mention the great personal service and laughs trying to understand the English names for everything I ordered and more. What a treat!"

"My fiancé and I stumbled across this little town on a drive around the nearby lake. We stopped off at La Ripetta for lunch and were greeted by a young waiter who showed us to a table. The views across the lake were fantastic and we immediately felt relaxed. We decided on the set menu which consisted of 4 courses plus coffee. There was antipasti with fried pasta to start with, then spaghettini carbonara, followed by mixed meat grill with a green salad, and finally a trio of desserts – tiramisu, crème caramel and trifle plus biscuits. We had a carafe of lovely red wine with the meal and then a beautiful dessert wine that the house recommended. The staff were professional and attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to 60 euros which we felt was great value for a long, relaxed lunch."
In nice weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.
