"We spent a beautiful day (a mini-vacation before the start of the school year) at Morimondo and Vigevano. We looked around for a place to eat, Il Priore looked a little pretentious from the outside and we didn't like the fact that they didn't post...the menu, but after a little walk around town we came back. We sat out on a gorgeous terrace, enjoying the view and the cool breeze. We ordered 2 antipasto plates perfect cold cuts, vegetarian snacks and wonderful typical Lombard sweet and sour zucchini delicious if a little small for the price, and a pinzimonio (raw vegetables with olive oil and lemon). Next, great ravioli with Ortiche (stinging nettle wonderful tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes and olives and their magnificent tortino fried risotto with an amazing crust. We were getting really full, so we cancelled one of our steaks (this isn't something you can usually do in a restaurant, but the host was incredibly nice). We shared one steak between four people the meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The desserts were nothing to write home about but I've found this is often the case in restaurants where the rest of the meal is of such high quality. It wasn't incredibly cheap 100 euros for four people but it was well worth the money, we had a fantastic meal, the service was friendly but elegant, and the terrace was beautiful. Eat here, then visit the abbey of Morimondo and square and castle in Vigevano for a perfect day!"
