"The food was amazing, the service was excellent! We were very kindly greeted at the door by I believe the owner or manager and taken to a comfortable booth, there were convenient hooks for our jackets on the dividing wall. The chef was very talented and the server was sweet. We enjoyed our time their for dinner very much, especially the fresh and tasty food. I also noticed how kind the owners were to the staff, not something you always see in a restaurant. I overheard the owners encouraging our waitress and I thought that was really nice. It was very professional and tastefully decorated, the menu options were fantastic and I loved how the menu had photos of everything. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant in Cranbrook."

"Probably the worst sushi restaurant we have been in BC. We came with two kids and we did not like the following about the food: the kids menu's chicken was cold and looked cooked days ago, the gomae's color was brown ish and did not seem fresh (8$ we expected more), the miso soup was watery (definitely without bonito base), the salad had *a lot* of dressing, portions were small ish.Fish was fresh and tasty and that deserves two stars in and on itself.Finally, the bathroom was not clean, with some sticky slime on the floor. A changing table would have also been really helpful for us but none was present.Kid friendliness: Bathroom definitely not adequate to change small babies. No learning chopsticks available."
