"Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von rund 20 Leuten dort und hatten für alle Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat bestellt. Das war bis auf die Bratkartoffeln alles sehr mäßig. Kaputtgebratenes Fleisch mit viel Panade."

"One of our regulars, in which I have been returning for over 23 years! Always super delicious! The menu offers something for every taste and is always highly recommended with seasonal dishes! As a guest you will always get warm and feel comfortable! Rich drinks with a very good selection of whiskey and other delicious spirits I just say... Hopefully this great place will survive the wild Corona time!!!"

"We were recently in the hearthouse borghort about 5 km away and were recommended this restaurant. developed between kiel and ckernförde, this place is a jewel! how often, sad, nowadyas we find downbeaton old style restaurants in our country side. the opposite here, very...beautiful old decor, pleasant and interesting host. the eating style is land type, had no such big German brat potatoes in a very long time. some menu sections in large and small size, good idea! very pleasant feeling. place seems to be booked most of the time, so reservation must be!"
