"Our sailing party came across this restaurant by accident in a side street and what a nice surprise it was. Service was prompt and very friendly and the food faultless. Decor classy. We were neither hurried nor neglected. Top marks to the waiter for looking after us so well. Thanks also to the owner, Patrice, for promptly posting to Ireland the hat which I'd left behind. We've promised to return to eat at this lovely restaurant and also to beat them at football!"

"We dined here to celebrate a friend's birthday; it's a great place for that special occasion. It's encouraging to find there are still good value restaurants in western France that take pride in serving up the best regional cuisine. Service is friendly and personal from the moment you arrive. The restaurant is split into 2 small rooms, one overlooking an attractive courtyard, so there is an intimate atmosphere. Everything is done correctly but not too formally. The emphasis is on your enjoyment of their cooking. Our table all chose from one of the set menus; even so we had difficulty choosing between tempting dishes. Naturally there is plenty of fish and shellfish on offer. The wine list is quite extensive and has some interesting to Loire valley and Bordeaux appellations to taste. We all admired the standard of cuisine in every course; it's quite unusual to find such consistency from amuse bouche to desert."
It's certainly always an experience to be in a typical saloon and to eat; to feel like a cowboy for once with a chilled drink and also the finger food like crispy fries, onion rings or a hearty burger, It's possible to chill out at the bar with a cool beer or other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. "Le lieu est sans prétention, la carte très simple (moules, burger....), le service très sympa, et en prime les dimanches, de la musique live. Mais l'endroit, qui surplombe la jolie plage de Sorlock, vaut surtout le détour pour ses couchers de soleil (prévoir de se couvrir si on dîne le soir sur la terrasse, le vent est un peu frais)."
