"I ordered the burrito bowl with pernil and a side of veggies. First let me say that the pernil was so on point, it tasted just like home. It was juicy, well seasoned, and the olive flavor really came through. The rice was also pretty good. I was a little disappointed that my meal didn't have beans, nor pico di gallo like the description for the order said. I was excited that veggies was a nutritious option as a side and it came with a nice variety of steamed broccoli, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms. However, the veggies were bland and wet and could be elevated with some butter and/or garlic and a touch of salt+pepper. Overall it was a great experience, and I really value their inclusion of Puerto Rican cuisine because you can't find that just anywhere in NJ. I'll be ordering here again!"

"We were in town, didn't have a reservation and stopped in to West Plains Bistro for supper. We sat out on the patio because the inside was full. We were glad we did. The appetizers were delicious as were the entrees. The service from the...Wait Staff was great. We would definitely recommend this if you love fine dining. It's a bit pricier but well worth it. Five Star!!"
