"I walked a three-mile stretch of Stewart Beach on a Monday morning during a recent visit. As far as beaches goes, it wasn't terribly inviting or user-friendly. The beach is ungroomed and natural debris litters the area. The sand is pretty compact throughout, also. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent and are located some distance west of the beach access near the Homewood Suites hotel. Fortunately, there was no artificial debris that I noticed, other than some discarded fruit. The water was pretty nice. Regardless of this, I still enjoyed the walk on the beach along with the other beach walkers and birds."
A visit to Stewart Beach is particularly valuable due to the extensive variety of coffee and tea specialties.

"We stayed 3 nights and had a great experience. The staff was all gracious and hardworking. The hotel is well done and kept. I bought a package that included daily breakfast and valet parking which worked out great. There’s no walking to the beach but that’s not why I chose this hotel. My only wishes are : the rooftop bar to be open, a pool, and for the water to be hotter in the shower (I prefer max to be more than I can handle). Still I recommend this spot. We loved evening walks in the area (before the sunset) and the antique shops are unmatched. All our meals were great and drinks at the bar were tasty. Thanks so much."
