"First of all the service was very poor. We waited 20 minutes before being asked for a drink or food order, we need waited a really long time before starter came out and again for dinner. The dinner was shocking. Chewy cheap steak, cheap rubbish fries which were soggy from all the steak juice, and mushrooms hardly cooked. It was awful and £17!!!!!!! When I said how it was, the waitress smiled and said they had quite a few complaints about it! Do not go here.. food and service very very poor."

"Visited on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. A welcome break from working at home. Great welcome, and great table service. It was very quiet and I got placed in a great window seat. Staff perfectly attentive and the meal was fantastic. Taste, presentation and price (o took advantage of a 50% off deal) It was also nice to see that preparations were taking place for some routine maintenance. A very welcome break from working, and was even invited to stay as long as I wanted afterwards taking advantage of the unlimited drink option. That was a lovely touch. I like to here, it’s local and good value. The staff are always really engaging."
