"I come to this location very frequently and always get the french dip. Tonight i placed an online order and picked it up at 8:15pm. When i got home to eat my french dip was raw and had blood on the bottom of the to go container. I also noticed a green tint to the meat. I have ordered the french dip at least 15 times from this exact location every time and i’ve never had it come raw like that before to the point where i can’t even eat it. I called the store and asked if i could come in tomorrow since they close in less than 30 minutes and maybe get a refund or store credit for a later time to use. I was offered by the manager to come by in the morning and they would remake it. I didn’t want it re made because i can’t eat it after taking it apart and seeing the raw meat nor do i want a sandwich at 10:30 in the morning when i had to come. I mentioned the meat had a green tint to it to which the manager told me “it was probably avocado from them using the same knife”. This sandwich has no mention on avacado on the menu so i’m not sure why it’s being cross contaminated with a knife that has avocado on it especially when someone can be allergic. It’s not even avocado that’s on the meat it’s green but it simply looks like maybe bad meat. Spent a good bit on my meal and it was a waste. The manager truly didn’t care at all when speaking on the phone. I hate to be that person but she barely spoke or offered any help."

"Awesome fresh seafood. Super large fried shrimp. We placed our order and had it cooked fresh on our table in just a few minutes. We barely got our drinks and silverware before they were calling us for our food. The mozzarella sticks are the best in town. Large and soft with a crisp outside. Friendly staff helps as well. I was a little disappointed that the did not decorate for Christmas, but that didn't affect te flavor of the food. This place is consistent. They filter their grease enough that the fried food is always great. Never over fried and hard. Particularly important with oysters. Get the $50 gift card for $40 cash. It's the way to go!"

"The food itself here isn 't bad, but the service is garbage. We placed a huge pick up order in May for curbside. Curbside because this is a big order and it 's raining. I arrive. Wait 20 minutes after checking in for our pickup... Nothing. I finally call and they tell me, Oh, we don 't come outside when it 's raining. Excuse me? I 've picked up here before when it was raining? You guys didn 't think to tell me TWENTY minutes ago when I checked in? You didn 't think to tell me when I placed the order FOR CURBSIDE?So I get our food back to the office. They messed up my order completely. I call the restaurant. The manager assures me, after explaining my messed up order and the rain debacle, that he would place a gift certificate for future use to be picked up. Great, fine.I go to pick up the voucher one day. No go. They say it 's impossible to do a gift certificate like that. That I have to order the same food they messed up again instead of getting a voucher I could use to come back with my family one day.I 've reached out to Walk Ons about this. I 've sent more than one complaint in. I have NOT ONCE got a reply a call, an email, anything. That 's fine. Our office orders out pretty regularly for up to 20 people. We 'll take our business somewhere else."

"Arguably the best gumbo in town. Great crunch and texture to the fried shrimp and catfish. Get the boudain bites. Extremely quick and polite service. My only suggestion would be a larger menu, though it's tough in such a small location. Adding an etouffee and an option to have your fish covered in it would be a plus. All in all, I like this place a lot. Fits well in Monroe/West Monroe."

"Have eaten here for years. This is my go-to place for oyster poboys and fried green tomatoes. Came in today for both. Can't believe I wasted my money. The oysters were very tough and the green tomatoes were off. I asked about the tomatoes and was told that the cook soaks them in pickle juice. If I wanted fried dill pickles I would order them. Everything today was salted to the max. There was a strange almost chemical odor about everything, even the food. I actually heard another customer complain about the fried green tomatoes. I won't be returning."
