"We went here for our wedding anniversary for an early dinner so we could watch the fireworks later. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Decorated very nicely. But it has the atmosphere of a funeral home. The waiters were the most miserable people o have ever seen. Actually staff at funeral homes have more personality and look cheerier. The atmosphere sucks the mood and life out of you. The restaurant was empty for a 6 pm dinner yet as we were eating for 2 they stuck a large family with kids right beside us. I hate it when restaurants do that. Give us a table between if it's not busy. The prime rib is better at The keg or Jred and co in Brampton. And cheaper. About the only thing I really enjoyed was the garlic bread. If you live the atmosphere of funeral homes then this place is for you. If not find a livelier upbeat not this life sucking place."

"This place changed hands about a year ago and the food especially dim sum is consistently good. Service has also improved tremendously. Limited selection on the special menu that provides soup and two to three dishes for a set price."

"Blue Lagoon is probably one of the most impressive dim sum restaurants I've seen West of Yonge St in all of Toronto. Almost all the dim sum places that I've loved have all been in Richmond Hill, Markham, or Scarborough, but it seems Mississauga is trying to bring it too.<br/ <br/ The place is located in the Chinese Center of Mississauga so its already a good start. They are set up like every major dim sum banquet restaurant where the decor seems so fancy, but the only important question is: how good is your food?<br/ <br/ We ordered a wide variety of items (WAY too much for 4 people), but it's OK, we can handle this. I'll start with the har gow which is how I usually judge a dim sum place. Their shrimp dumplings were pretty good. The skin held together and the filling inside was not overly done with sesame oil. Most of their dishes like the chicken feet, sticky rice in lotus leaf, shrimp rice roll, and shu mai were all very good. The shu mai were some of the best I've had actually and it comes with garlic flakes dancing atop it (don't be worried if it looks alive). <br/ <br/ Definitely worth coming to, especially with how limited the Chinese selection is around Mississauga. I didn't even think a place like this existed out west. You could get lost in all the chains, Indian, and Hakka food, but it's nice to stumble across a familiar place, at least for me."

"Beautiful little jewel in mimico (long branch, lakesore at browns line.) I would definitely recommend their oysters, they can enjoy every Tuesday and Thursday a cuckoo. they are fat, delicious and groundless. they also have big Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday specials. and, don't even let me go to the tacos. I lived two years in mexiko, and the tacos here are excellent, accompanied by a full bar, along with a beautiful selection of craft beers, on tap. cozy and private ambiente. the menu is simple, including ribbed and fish chips, they are consistent and tasty. and not to forget to mention kay, one of the owners, she is ready to welcome them with a smile and beautiful drinks."
