"My wife and I thought for something sushi and were pleasantly rewarded some very good articles. We chose the specials of the day - two spicy roles with a variety of articles included in and on any role. It was very creative and appealing. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge of Sitka. Since it was our first time in this area, we asked to go and see other places and they were very helpful."

"This place is pricey so it's obviously not every day dining especially since they are probably fully booked for the foreseeable future. Give them a call after 5pm Tues- Fri. Maybe to see about a reservation. We tried calling leaving voice mails eventually stopped in to make a reservation in person. They had a cancelation so we were lucky.... boy were we! The service was great, the view was great, the local fare was phenomenal. Chef Collette is really great not just for a small Alaskan town but as a chef in general. We travel all over the world eat well as we do. If you can get a reservation fit it into your budget I say go to Ludvig's."

"The Bayview Restaurant is really great! The views of Sitka from upstairs are superb and make the meal and time there worth it. So grab a beer and people watch or check out the mountains and harbor. The staff is very friendly and the service overall has been on point here. The prices are on the higher side, but it’s Sitka and a common place for tourists to eat. So why not go play tourist? I especially like their chowder over others in town. Stop in and enjoy this place when you get a chance. It’s often self seating and there are options to sit in a few different areas.
