"A pleasant surprise in the area. Front of hotel very welcoming with its flowers and comfortable lounge area. Had aperitifs outside with a beautiful view of the gardens and way, way beyond. Restaurant itself was nicely decorated and roomy and airy, again with a view to the fields beyond. Wait staff delightful and engaging. The food was beautifully presented and tasty. My husband had asked the sommelier to choose 3 wines to pair with his meal, which he did graciously; my husband enjoyed tasting 3 new wines. All in all a very enjoyable evening."

"We are here with some French friends. The meal was the 31 euro menu and was very enjoyable. The starters and main courses were excellent. The cheese was fresh and a generous serving. The desserts were fine, if a little less exciting. However, we did turn the next night for a meal for two, selecting from the a la carte menu. We had main and dessert and again were very satisfied and would return if in the area again."
