"Everything is excellent. We had Thai Street Noodles, Pad Tai, green curry and yellow curry, all with chicken, and edamame. They do an excellent job with the chicken, always moist and tender. Each dish has its own distinctive flavor."

"We had read many favorable reviews, so when we visited Chester recently we decided that we would have breakfast there before we hit the shops on Main Street. I have to say that the vibe and look of The Villager was more like a dingy down and out cafe, some tables around the perimeter of the small space, not very welcoming. Atmospherically , there was a beautiful wall mural of the Gillette Castle, and it wouldn’t take very much, or cost very much, to look more inviting. The lady at the register didn’t do much to make it more welcoming, but maybe she was having a bad day. The two men behind the counter the owners? were more engaging. There appeared to be many breakfast sandwiches to choose from, according to the posted menus, but the signs were not very legible and there was no description of any of them, and the lack of friendliness just made it easier to order two eggs scrambled, home fries and toast. The good news is that the eggs were tasty and the price very, very reasonable , the self-serve coffee very good Green Mountain , but the home fries were surprisingly very spicy which is fine if were told that when we ordered , the bread was nondescript from a supermarket? , and I had ordered a side of bacon with my eggs that was inedible. The three small circular pieces of bacon were so thin and overdone, that it couldn’t be eaten. We got there around 11:20 on a Saturday, and apparently they close at 12: we weren’t rushed, but we also weren’t made to feel that we could take our time either. The breakfast wasn’t terrible, just disappointing. There appeared to be other choices on Main Street that were certainly more popular and welcoming."

"Overpriced and overrated! Service was slow, we asked for more bread and they charged us and didn't tell us. We ordered two dishes and waited over an hour to get them, spaghetti and clams dish was disappointing, clams were very chewy and the lemon in the dish was overwhelming... Will not be going back. "Many people recommended Otto for a great New England pizza, so I went there with a group of friends. We all have beer and ordered to share the Margherita and the Pepper sauce pizza. Both pizzas were very good, although the pepperoni was excellent! I absolutely loved how thin and tasty the crust was. The outdoor area where we sat, had beautiful lighting that gave good, happy moods, and the staff was very friendly and gave us recommendations for food. Overall a good experience."
