"Every year a few of my mates get together for golf, a great meal and a weekend away. We were booked in for dinner at ten minutes by tractor but changed to lunch to petit and we were glad we did. Our table was in the garden room at the rear of the restaurant which I would recommend. We all had the steak tartare which made us happy with a ten minute Sauvignon. Also very nice. The entree was followed by a duck al a orange, chicken and I had the lamb which was very tender. We accompanied this with a Pinot or two from the vineyard. Dessert was an apple tart, rhubarb parfait and a chocolate mousse. These had to come with a heggies sticky. The food was excellent, very well done indeed. Our waitress who was new to Victoria was absolutely lovely and very helpful with her recommendations. We didn't leave feeling disappointed that we didn't eat at 10 minutes while we were here, rather, feeling we made the better choice."

"Everything was so good ! Best French style fare that I've had in a very long time. If you had that quality in Paris, you would be thrilled. Fantastic."

"The Eastermontag was not excessively busy, but the restaurant can and is ready to handle over the normal volume is shameful. ran out of pizza, but not laid open, so we got gluten-free (turned and refunded) cheese plate used tasteless pecorino loop that claimed the personal normal pecorino, and there were at least 20 other unfortunate and complaining customers with which the restaurant decided to become competitive. will not be back and would not recommend anyone."

"I booked a family lunch for long weekend recently. There were some so-so reviews sprinkled in but I thought I would give this establishment a chance.The wait staff were rude, and un-friendly from the start. One of the ladies who was servicing our table spoke quite rudely to my mother who was un-aware her chair was in the way. Our table was in a corner so it was bit crammed and the backs of chairs were close to the table next to us. The staff also did not take any initiative to help my sister with her pram to get up the stairs or even hold the door for her as we were leaving with our hands full. Simple courtesy was not even exhibited.I was quite embarrassed and felt mad that I had brought my parents here to be treated so rudely when we were trying to simply have a nice meal together. Food was ok, expensive but the service was so below what you would expect from such an establishment it really ruined our lunch family time.This happened about two weeks ago, but I was so disappointed with this experience I felt the need to leave a review. I only hope other diners will not have such a negative experience too."

"An exceptionally good wine guestaurant! I had Mother's Day at some time with my friend and our mothers lunch and she cares good! The food was delicious and freshly moved, and I love your estate Pinot Noir! The service was fantastic and the look is fabulous! Will definitely come back to another lunch!"

"We 've thoroughly enjoyed 'Ten Minutes by Tractor ' and was really looking forward to experiencing 'Petit Tracteur ', the bistro version for lunch of the more high dining degustation 'Ten Minutes '. Not disappointed. A lovely venue with nice views , great smiling service and of course, a great selection of wines. We were seated in the conservatory styled section of the restaurant which was great. It has opening windows so I can imagine in spring and summer it would be a lovely place to be. I loved the steak tartar (it was probably the best I 've ever had) and the beef cheek was absolutely delicious. Others had confit duck, steak and pork belly. Everyone enjoyed each plate and mouthful. We all (4 people) had 2 drinks each and 3 of us had 3 courses and me, just the 2 and it was under $400 which I thought was pretty good value."
