"The food was terrible. I ordered the Veal Madera and it was terrible. The meat was sweet and had a brown sauce that was not complimentary to the Veal. Out of four different meals ordered by my family and I two were liked and the other 2 were totally disliked. That's why I decided to give this restaurant a 2 star. The service was slow. But it allowed us to have great conversation."

"Lazotea was an awesome experience. The food was extremely delicious and the service was top-notch with a high level of attention to detail. I had the sea bass and my wife had the mushroom fettuccine. Music in the rooftop was excellent as well."

"Given the high score for this restaurant of previous guests we expected more. we loved the bruschetta appetizer; it was kreatiw and beautifully presented and great worth. the rest of our meal was nothing special. the Caesar salad lacked taste and good quality basic ingredients; especially parmesan reggian. frankly, it tasted very basic; more like fast eating. I ordered the pasta with sausages and was very disappointed; the pasta was partly uncooked and I have in hard pieces in the whole plate. also the sausage pieces were very large and not nicely distributed by the bowl because they had to be cut into smaller segments. my man ordered a house speciality ravioli that the waiter had recommended; he liked it well enough, but was not overly impressed by it. our bill with 2 glasses wein was about $120 usd; make it one of our most expensive dinners in Panama City. many of the restaurants in the opposite of casco viejo were more sensible and offer better eating, so we will not return to mangiare."
