"We were registered for a family party. In preparation we have already encountered first difficulties, as communication with the tenants (family Kappler already proved to be exhausting. As we are not local, we asked to send the card, a offer for coffee and cakes with different cakes, an offer for an evening menu and for overnight stays on site. There is not even an email address that you can communicate about. After several follow-ups, we will have a part of what was agreed by phone. We have not yet received a price quotation. As a service provider/supplier an unprofessional or indiscustable behavior. In several phone calls, we had pointed out EXPLIZIT that we arrived with 4 dogs and the condition is that we host the celebration there. That didn't seem to be a problem. The host did not feel necessary to welcome us or to congratulate us for the joyful occasion. We found our board alone in the restaurant. Here someone doesn't even seem to have passed the primary school for service understanding! When we wanted to get our rooms, we were told that the dogs could be locked in the cellar or left in the car, but the rooms should not be allowed. In completely inappropriate tone, I was told that I had never asked dogs and that because of the asthmatics who were supposed to stay regularly at the Höcherberghaus, it was impossible. Then why were dead crabs lying around in one of the lovingly furnished rooms designed with stinky linoleum? Isn't it cleaned? Absolute No Go! The possibility for children is located in the gigantic cellar and is still nicely described with “loveless”. There, none of the children present wanted to be wounded without a roar. The board was so jammed into the corner in the next room that neither guests nor the staff were able to walk around. And it was not so much in the approach that you could not have put the board more inviting into the room. The coffee table had a little creative design and alone cost 50€ only for plates, cutlery, cups and blue candles. It might have been mentioned in advance!! Also a No Go! We ordered 4 complete cakes in advance and asked to bake them without lactose for us and, in addition to two creamy cakes or cucumber-containing cakes, we asked for 2 fruit cakes that are less “powerful”. We served 4 very “powerful” cakes. After all, it was possible to bake 3 out of 4 cakes/pies without lactose. Listening seems to be an art form that is not dominated in Höcherberghaus! The operation obviously had little desire to serve us, it was rarely seen and also its abilities are worthy of improvement. Food and beverages are not enough over other guests and multiple requests for orders at the guest do not testify to an excellent memory or the ability to make notes. A smile, kindness and courtesy are also part of the professional craftsmanship in service. For food: The cake was okay, but nothing worth visiting the Höcherberghaus. For dinner we have fed a la Carte with the remaining guests and I have swollen the comb! Bruschetta: Bruschetta describes a roasted ciabatta rubbed with garlic and oil and, if necessary, coated with diced tomatoes. In the Höcherberghaus Bruschetta is a supermarket baguette with tomatoes and cheese baked. The interior of the mushy is understood. Melons with parmas ham: That was some air-dried ham, but definitely not a parma ham! Salads: All (salates and salad plate supplements were drowned throughout with a (probably mayonaise-based dressing, whether or not Krautsalat, green salad or bean salad. On all salad plates (but rather a female meal were very sharp peperonis, which are not suitable for consumption by “Normal Ser”. All salads were “retracted” with a slice of melon, whether it fits the salad or not. Overall, I expected more different salads and matching dressings. Lachsfilet: A frozen fish can also be dead and dry roasted, but not more than in the Höcherberghaus. Tortellini ala panna: much too salty, a sauce was barely present, for that there was plenty of cheaper air-dried ham on prefabricated tortellinis. Cordon Bleu with fries: The Cordon Bleu was characterized by 2 things: the cheese was missing and it was prepared in the frituse. The pommes were limity edible. Zigeunerschnitzel with pommes: The sauce was good, picant and very tasty, the carving was a frying carving, the pommes I mentioned earlier. Summary: The small 1x1 of the service and the host does not control the Höcherberghaus! If the operators and the staff were a bit more professional, 600€ would certainly have been more profitable with our company (100€ with additional drinks, the service would have been more likely to look and would have been involved (e.g. a round of sparkling wine; 200€ with overnight stays that we have cancelled due to the “health themes”; 100 200€ with additional overnight stays, which spontaneously arise due to the planned long evening; at least 100€ for a few bottles of wine and baggage for dinner; 100 200€ for further food (appetizers, desserts, which we would have carried out later in the event of an overnight stay. The small 1x1 good kitchen also does not control the Höcherberghaus! We were deeply disappointed by the performance and performance of the Höcherberghaus and unfortunately this sometimes remains one of the lasting memories of this family celebration. So we left the same evening instead of spending a planned nice weekend at the Höcher Tower."
