"For us, this was not a good experience. We arrived late at night and got our key. We were just told where our room was, for the rest of us, we didn't get a statement. We had to wonder what time breakfast started. They didn't talk. English while this was in language. When we got into our room, we thought it was a big room. But this changed fast. I understand if dogs are welcome, the rooms aren't 100% stains, but there were blood stains on the blanket you had to cover for yourself. I felt more in the army. The furniture was damaged and the toilet roll was over the toilet. You could barely handle it. The bed is a 2-person bed, but you're more comfortable sleeping separately because it's two single mattresses with everyone's blankets on it. We went to breakfast in the morning, but the dog couldn't leave these in the room. This isn't about a dog who runs discharge. So we all went separate breakfast. For the rest, the staff was nice. For me, this hotel wasn't worth three stars."
In pleasant weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.

"My experience of Germany and Germans in general are that they are a practical and efficient bunch. I have always enjoyed the food offerings in Germany and it is normally quite good value. On this visit I seemed to have located the exception to the rule... We were looking forward to going to the Blockhaus as it has a fabulous view and what seemed to be a great atmosphere. Our visit proceeded as follows - upon arrival no one showed us to a table. We eventually wandered around aimlessly and found a table ourselves. A waitress appeared at some point and took our drink order, and when she returned she brought some menus along. The menu offerings were mediocre and quite unappealing, but we were hungry and eventually settled on something that sounded okay. After waiting 15 minutes with no sign of our waitress we found another member of staff who took our order. Five minutes later our original waitress appeared and we informed her that we had already placed our order. This was not well received and resulted in a scolding from her advising us that we can only order from her. We advised her what we had ordered from her colleague and she proceeded to place the order again!At this stage I was hoping the famed German efficiency would kick in and she would see that her electronic system already indicates an order on our table. Or, alternatively, that a member of the kitchen staff would query why a duplicate order appeared within 5 minutes. Alas, not so! Two minutes after chastising us our waitress appeared with our food. You would think that surely she must have realised that because we only ordered with her 120 seconds before this must have been the earlier order we were referring to. Alas, still not! Her colleague then appeared five minutes later with the second order - looking very confused! You think at this point a staff member would say something to us or her colleague to clear up the confusion, but no - this did not happen.When we had finished the meal (not very exciting - but the ingredients were fresh and at least had more taste than British food) it was another round of 'try to locate a waitress'. We eventually received a copy of the bill only to find that they had charged us for 4 meals - no one had bothered to correct the error. When we pointed this out the waitress went away in confusion, and returned five minutes later and also proceeded to blame us for ordering twice. In what world do staff chastise customers for:1. Their colleagues not being around to take an order for a table they are allocated to2. Their colleagues helping a customer by taking an order from a table which is not allocated to them3. Their colleagues not believing a customer when they advise that an order has already been placed4. Their colleagues in the kitchen not picking up a duplicate order5. Their colleagues who brought the duplicate order of food not thinking to question or correct the errorAll in all - not the greatest food or service."
