"First time i had visited as i am from portsmouth and was visiting in the area. Omg the chips were lush and the small portion was huge compared to what we get in portsmouth. The curry sauce was also to die for."

"My partner comes here at least twice a week with an autistic gentleman he does one-to-one work with. This service user can be very high maintenance and demanding when things do not go his way. The staff at Lui's are fantastic with him. They are...very understanding of his condition, even when he comes into the shop and shouts his order at them. Not once has there been a bad experience. Food is to a high standard too."

"Had food from here for years had food with chicken which was pink a few months back and then in last coupke of nights had one with a long hair through a chicken piece which i pulled out. Disgusting. Sorry Newbridge Marmaris never ever again."

"A lovely stone build pub in Blackwood set off the main gellihaf road.. great food cooked by an awesome chief called Russell who in my book makes a mean mixed grill and the prices are very good for what u get. We arrived to be greeted by our bartender colin and asked if they were still serveing food and was told they were but there would be a little bit of a wait but would have to order straight away so we quickly glanced at the menu boards and settled on a mixed grill and a beef madrass half and half was told it would be at least half hour wait so we ordered our drinks and sat at our table. the best pint of speckled hen in blackwood by far and was only £2.80 result my new favorite place will be visiting again very soon"
