"This is the kind of place that makes 'sushi' for suburban dwellers who don't actually like traditional sushi.There's hardly a dish that isn't covered in mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce or something of the sort.Most of the ingredients are not fresh seafood but fried chicken, beef, processed seafood and other things that a self-respecting sushi chef wouldn't touch with a 10 foot chopstick.The rice on dishes like seared salmon sushi should be plain, but comes with some sort of sweet sauce on it that overshadows the salmon.Ginger is not in containers at the bench. It's in tiny sachets that you have to wait to come round - and it's not the more tasty pink kind, but a more watery yellow variety.If you enjoy sushi I would save your craving for somewhere better, rather than walk away from Sushi Ren disappointed."

"One of the best sushi trains I have been to recently. I really enjoyed my sushi that I got from Sushi Edo over the weekend, the place was packed so I was lucky to get a seat. I had the salmon nigiri and the wagu nigiri as well as a tuba and avocado roll. Everything was made fresh when ordered from the tablet at the table or you can pick from the train. Definitely stop by Sushi Edo if you want some delicious sushi quickly."

"For years we have been here regularly and also after the way back. the agadashi tofu is great as the gyoza and edamame. recommend to the katsu don pork) and karagee huhn. all and all sushi plates are fresh in. before them made and are delicious. there is also a good choice of Japanese tees and drinks. natsumi is both in and take it and the staff is delightful. the same chef has been there for years. this is the favorite preortan restaurent served beautiful fresh Japanese cuisine at a good price."

"Ordered their special menu today: “chicken katsu don” and “curry rice” which they advertised as WITH side for me to choose. I chose katsu chicken and fried rice for the sides. The staff delivered two main courses side (looked like katsu chicken), which I assumed another side was in process. Upon waiting for a couple of minutes, I raised a question and the staff said there was no side and the one that was delivered was a karage chicken, which they mistakenly ordered for us. What they meant by “side” was not an additional of the main course but a “meat selection”, which I failed to understand how would they deliver “chicken katsu don” if I select “prawn” as what they called as side. <br br/>The staff reacted impolitely by three times asking if I had eaten the karage that was mistakenly ordered. I said I took one in a view that that was a side of my order. She then took the rest, not even apologising and clarifying the menu. The sushi were rather standard and were overpriced given their taste and portion. Wouldn’t think of coming back here. <br"

"Before two weeks to this Japanese food in rochdale. it was unexpectedly busy (full house.) there were at least four to five employees who led the show behind the theke, and our seats were so close to the theke that we could see that many people approach the counter to place dunes in or out of print jobs. the total production was good, but slightly chaotic. baked by gyoza and meso suppe were released. angry crab roll was average, but the heroes were the takoyaki and teriyaki tori udon. there are definitely room to improve, but it is worth going because the price is quite reasonable."
