"This is probably the most genuine fish chips bar that I've ever experienced. Locals and tourists queue for about 15' on busy days to be rewarded with the real stuff: nothing fancy and what you see is what you get for a more than reasonable price tag. Take your food, find yourself a quite place on the beach across the street and enjoy the sunset with the one you love...One advice: check the portions first before ordering, they are really generous..."

"Special lunch on the birthday of the sohne today wonderful! eating here is fabulous, and the service was well relaxed, not us from one cure to the next, very appropriate among the circumstances. our appetizers were beautiful, we shared a chili aubergine dish, arancini, and padron paprika, then two of us had the bouillabaisse style fish one-pot mom! and hubby very enjoyed a small filet steak with pancetta, mushrooms and skallops. desserts enjoyed were xl eclair and deconstructed pavlowa, followed by coffee. we have divided a bottle very pleasant sauvignon blanc. a total of three very satisfied customers. I saw that someone felt there was too much seafood on the menu, I think it's great, and there are many other possibilities that are also excellent. their steaks are always excellent, they offer smokers, huhn, beautiful burgers and great salads, the warm sweetness of the dessalats is particularly delicious. one of my favorite restaurants everywhere. "A beautiful hotel for a weekend trip and as a starting point for the exploration of guernsey. situated on a moderately steep hill, which offers it a magnificent panoramic view of the city, which is inseparable and sark. on a good day you can also see the outlines of the inseln jersey and alderney. the walk into the city is nice for us but can be hard if steep climbs are not their ding. room quality was high with all mod cons they would expect from a hotel of this review. we had only breakfast here, but we were not disappointed at all. the quality of eating and the environment were fabulous. in any case recommend to consider when they stay in guernsey."
