"My wife and I have been coming to the Dedham Summer Shack every year for our anniversary. We have done this a number of times. We also occasionally come for a really nice dinner out. The food in general is excellent. It was no different this time. I have a couple of comments about things that would have made the most recent experience better. This is a seafood restaurant. You would expect that a reasonable amount of lemon would be served with the meal. Not this time. We got one tiny piece for two different entrees. We found a waiter to get us a total of 3 more small pieces of lemons. I was wondering if they should send someone to the supermarket on the other side of the road to pick up a batch more. One of the really nice things that Summer Shack serves on the side is their cornbread. On previous visits, there was a few pieces in the bread basket. This time, there was one small piece. We asked for more and our waiter got us more, so they clearly had more available. Leaving the negatives aside, the food was excellent, very well prepared as we asked for. The wine list is not extensive, which is fine, and the waiter was helpful in providing some additional information about the wine. The wine was good and reasonably priced by restaurant standards even at the upper end of white wine prices. Our server was overall good."

"The Take Away is a very unique little find. The restaurant itself is located in a residential neighborhood which makes it 's Mom Pop vibes 10X more adorable. The menu is one of the most diverse you 'll find anywhere, from the staple seafood (baked or fried to amazing personal pizzas (10 , subs, salads, Italian dishes, and the occasional owners specials like home cooked meatloaf. Bring cash because The Take Away is Cash Only, however there is an ATM at the store so you 're never inconvenienced. For the amount of food you get the prices are super low. There was one reviewer who said the portions run small either that 's fake news or the reviewer has an appetite matched only by an orca whale, see pictures here on The Take Away 's Facebook page. All the food is super fresh and they get shipments of fresh seafood multiple times a week. The fried food is heavy in a great way, if that 's what you 're craving. For healthier options they have a ton of baked dishes (chicken fish , salads, and sandwiches. The Lobster roll is literally a steal with the amount of meat they include! They usually have some great deserts too. The fried dough is deadly in the most amazing way. Best of all the owners Mark Cathy will brighten anyone 's day who walks through The Take Away 's door make you feel immediately at home :"

"Our friends had dinner at Conrad last night and it was absolutely amazing! The waitresses were super helpful, attentive and sympathetic, we were very nicely treated, the food came as fast as it should be and was so fresh and tasty and it could be, all orders were correct and precise, I had the steak tips and I recommend it super tasty, tender and juicy, they have a variety of beer and wines that is very nice, the waitress was very well organized! Super recommend! Thank you, Conrad's"

"Unfortunately I had a very negative and unpleasant experience with the owner of this restaurant. I am from out of state and whenever I visit family in the greater Boston area, we make it a point to go to Cafe Venice. Tonight was a horrible experience because of the owner and his unprofessionalism. One of the steaks was cooked incorrectly (a steak that was ordered rare came out well done), and when asked to have it re made, the waiter seemed confused, eventually took it back to the kitchen, then brought the same plate back with the same well done steak. The waiter said, per the kitchen, the steak was rare and we were mistaken. I"m not sure how a wait staff can tell a customer that they are wrong about their opinion or preference. Even if the steak was rare, should the kitchen not just honor the customer's request and re make the steak? VERY poor customer service. (Of note side dishes were forgotten and drinks were not refilled once during the entire meal for any of the 8 guests). Eventually the owner came to our table and from the start, accused one of the members of our party of swearing at the waiter (which he didn't) and, again, that he was wrong for saying the steak was over cooked. Understandably, this answer was unacceptable to our group and the owner proceeded to provoke one of his guests. The owner refused to acknowledge this customer's grievance, and told us to never come back. I hope he reads this because his wish is granted. Our family has brought a lot of business to this restaurant, and the owner was too obnoxious and arrogant to listen to his customers. Also of note, the owner was visibly intoxicated which would likely explain his childish behavior. But this is not the first time he has acted like this either. The bill was paid in full and our party left. As we were leaving, the owner was standing at the bar (surprise), talking about our group to other patrons. We could hear him talking about us as we left and he even pointed us out (including a 92 year old woman) to the people he was talking to. I feel bad for the people who are employed at this restaurant, and hope they can find a better place to work with more professional ownership."

"This place is sooo good. Drive here fly here walk here for an extensive menu of really good food and some of the friendliest service in America.
