"Really amazing Mexican food. It was a while since I had good Mexican food and my last iterations was a hit or a miss, but this place has great taste. Meat was perfectly cooked. Had a Burrito bowl and my friend had Tacos. Tacos size was quite large and filled. You have the right sauces and salsa aswell."

"Five of us dined at Mia's for our first time on Friday night. The food was absolutely the best. Every dish we shared was so flavourful. Beef Vindaloo was melt in your mouth tasty, but also comes with a warning, that the heat level is not for the mild spice diners. Our friendly and helpful server, the head chef's wife, made sure we had plenty of water to keep the fire under control. The tandoori chicken was tender and moist and every bite came with the distinctive smokey tandoor flavour. The butter chicken was creamy and savoury, and the plate consisted of all chicken breast, no dark meat. The apps were equally delicious including the naan, garlic and regular, which were served hot out of the oven. The wine choices were fine, although our red wine was served quite warm, but not enough to return it. However, the mango lassi's were cold and refreshing. This small and well decorated Indian restaurant probably doesn't get the social media credit that it deserves. Probably because it's not located in the usual dining districts, but with plenty of parking and a very accessible location, I would highly recommend you experience the professional and friendly staff at Mia's St. Laurent, the food will speak for itself. "Don't be put off by first impressions walking in the door, this place delivers the goods. Family owned with fresh ingredients out of their extensive garden--we watched the romaine lettuce for our Caesar salad come in from the garden right after we ordered. All Meat pizza was amazingly good with a center dough bun and garlic butter. Cup of fresh soup was gratis. Owners are lovely people. Will most definitely be back!"

"Delicious food. Every time my boyfriend and I deliver or walk in we get delicious food that makes us want to order again. The owners also seem very nice and care about the quality of the food they serve. I have been to other Greek restaurants in Ottawa and the people seem to not care much about their customer's total satisfaction."

"This was my go to restaurant for greek food. What a disapointment tonight! My vegetarian plate was 21.95 for 2 small triangles of re-heated Spakanopika, 4 Dolmades fresh out of a jar in the fridge, a green salad, dry rice and 3 pieces of potatoes. The tzatziki in my friend's plate tasted like sour cream and her keftes were good. Service was so-so, by the time she came back to check on us, we were almost finished eating."

"Out today with two other friends for Brunch at Perkins, great place that serves breakfast all day. We had a great time catching up on news. We had an attentive male server who we thought was being a bit of a jokester. While clearing the table he said that the bill had been taken care of... we thought he was just joking until another server came over and told us that his patron, a couple with child had taken care of paying for our Brunch bill! I wonder if I will ever know who this was? What a great surprise! I wanted to get a piece of pie to go at the Perkins Bakery but couldn’t decide on the chocolate silk or the coconut cream, so I got both. Just heading outside to the car the server came after me and said that the one piece of pie was the last one and it was smaller then usual and she wanted to correct it. I gave her the bag, two minutes later she came out with a fresh cut piece and she included the other small piece too. How nice was that! I hope in the near future I can 'pay it forward '!"
