"We went here for a family supper on a Saturday night and had the place to ourselves I'm not sure why. The food was very good (we opted for the traditional cheese fondue) and the service was attentive and genuine. (We were served by one of the two owners who are Swiss.) The decor outside is a bit "ketaine" but the garden is stunning and most of the herbs, vegetables and fruits they use are directly from their garden, as I imagine, are the eggs from their henhouse. I'd like to visit in the winter to take advantage of the very cosy interior. All meals - summer and winter - are cooked on a genuine anyone cast iron (heated by burning wood) stove. All in all this is a unique, interesting and pleasant place for a meal; worth a detour."

"Definitely not anglophone friendly...and do NOT ask them for fresh cooked bacon as I did because you'll get an earful from the waitress and the owner. Was told "it takes too much time"- Plenty more to this story but here's what you need to know:- after politely discussing the issue with the owner and politely discussing why perhaps she might make an exception (I'm retired and have all the time in the world to wait lol)... this total whacko comes out of the kitchen and starts threatening me, yelling at me and sticks his finger in my face ...All because I asked for fresh cooked bacon?Yikes!"
