"Stopover on way home from a holiday in the Dordogne. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. We were seated promptly but it did take 15 mins before we had our order taken however the waiter was very polite and helpful. My kids ate the kids menu, buffet starter, chicken nuggets and frites followed by buffet dessert and they had water included too, I think this was 12 Euros each and was great value. My husband had plat du jour which had two choices for each course and he was happy and I had the buffet which was buffet starter, plat du jour main course and buffet dessert. There was a really good choice on the buffet for both starter and dessert. The buffet for the starter included saucission, chorizo, pickles, cheeses, hams, salads, rice salads, seafood, fish and dressings. For dessert there were choc mousse, rhubarb mousse (delicious), various tarts, rice pudding (again delicious said my son, 8) & chocolate cake. For the main course of Plat du Jour it was Steak frites which were cooked perfectly. We had a bottle of Rose with our dinner @ 25 euros. All in all a really good dinner. For Breakfast you are greeted and seated and they bring you your first hot drink and it is a help yourself buffet so you can choose from yoghurts, breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, different meats and I've probably forgotten something! lots of hot drinks, juices, milk, water etc. Really very good."

"Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant lors de notre journée à Cerza. Nous avons choisi celui-ci pour son emplacement et avons mangé sur la terrasse avec vue sur la savane africaine et sur les siamangs, qui ont ponctué notre repas de leurs chants ! Dépaysant !!! Alors certes les prix ne sont pas les plus bas (mais le menu étant affiché dès l'entrée, on ne peut pas dire que l'on n'est pas prévenus) mais pour notre part nous avons estimé que le cadre le valait, et nous avons par ailleurs apprécié nos hamburgers et fish and chips, de même que nos enfants ont aimé leur menu enfant. Un petit bémol pour le dessert, les crêpes n'étant pas fait maison. Néanmoins, le rapport qualité prix me semble correct."

"Arriving in Lisieux after a tough day, plans to head into town for a meal bit the dust and we opted for Buffalo Grill, a stone's throw from our hotel. I'd resigned myself that it would be mediocre at best, although I had been there previously and had an enjoyable night. However, it was great! The food was delicious the tapas starter was brilliant, especially the quesadillas and my main course was fab. My husband said his steak was the best he'd ever had!! I had been looking forward to a desert, but the main course was so plentiful that I couldn't consider it. The staff were friendly and courteous, and really made us feel welcome. The decor hasn't changed since my last visit almost five years ago, but if it's not broken why fix it. It seems popular with locals lots of young families and groups of young adults. To conclude. give it a go it's much better than it looks! It may not be traditional French but the food is lovely!"
